Title	Rebar Fabricator/General Worker
Location	Procut Steel, Brampton, ON
Job Information	PURPOSE Cut, bend and bundle reinforcing steel bars in accordance with shop drawings provided. JOB TYPE Full-time, Part-time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow proper safety procedures in accordance with the companies health and safety manuals. Operate overhead cranes to move, assemble and select material to be fabricated or shipped. Operate a rebar bending machine to bend reinforcing steel bars to specific shapes Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths Demonstrate conduct consistent with Procut Steel’s Vision and Values Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner Unload trailers and store materials in storage bins Assist other employees in any of the above tasks MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must be familiar with, and adhere to shop safety policies and procedures Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate bar measurements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs Job Types: Full-time, Part-time EXPERIENCE Rebar Fabrication: 1 year

Title	Welder/Fitter
Location	Procut Steel, Brampton, ON
Job Information	PURPOSE Fit, cut, weld, grind, mark and bundle structural steel in accordance with customer’s orders/shop drawings JOB TYPE Full-time, Part-time DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate overhead crane to move, assemble and select material to be fabricated or shipped. Operate band saw to cut structural steel materials to specified lengths. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Procut Steel’s vision and values. Be able to measure, fit, weld, grind, mark and bundle steel material Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner. Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping. Unload trailers and store material in storage bins. Assist other employees in any of the above tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must be able to know the basics of reading a blueprint or shop drawings Must have basic math skills to be able to calculate measurements High School Diploma or equivalent SPECIAL DEMANDS Must be familiar with, and adhere to shop safety policies and procedures Must be able to work overtime when required Must be able to work any shift PHYSICAL DEMANDS Some heavy lifting may be necessary Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs EXPERIENCE Fitting: 3 years Welding: 3 years
